Orient Express Corinthian Welcomes a Fleet of Tiwal Sailboats On Board
Built by Chantiers de l’Atlantique and operated by Accor, the Orient Express Corinthian was launched in Saint-Nazaire last April. Measuring 220 meters in length, it is the world’s largest sailing cruise ship and heralds a new era of luxury maritime travel.
On board, an initial fleet of four Tiwal inflatable sailboats will allow guests to extend their experience at sea during stopovers, exploring anchorages while discovering the pleasures of fun and accessible sailing.
This partnership marks an important milestone in Tiwal’s development. It confirms the growing interest from both the yachting and luxury hospitality sectors in innovative watersports activities that are easy to deploy and offer an authentic sailing experience. Today, the yachting sector accounts for nearly 20% of Tiwal’s annual revenue.
“Seeing our sailboats on board the world’s largest sailing cruise ship is a tremendous source of pride for the entire Tiwal team. This partnership perfectly illustrates our ambition: to make sailing accessible everywhere, from the most remote beaches to the most prestigious vessels.”
Emmanuel Bertrand, President and Co-founder of Tiwal.
The Orient Express Corinthian has begun its inaugural season in the Mediterranean. It will then continue to the Adriatic before crossing the Atlantic in the autumn to spend the winter season in the Caribbean.
