The boat
The Tiwal 3R Max with jib and gennaker is the ultimate inflatable dinghy for full-range performance. Lightweight, ultra-responsive, and equipped with both headsails, it offers thrilling speed, versatility, and easy handling in all conditions. Built with advanced materials for top rigidity, it packs into three bags plus a sail cover, fits in a car trunk, and rigs in about 40 minutes—ready for maximum control, speed, and endless fun on the water.
The hull
The Tiwal 3R Max’s inflatable hull comprises 2 watertight compartments. It is made of a double-wall fabric inflated to high pressure. It uses fusion technology which makes it particularly rigid and light. It has a V-shaped hull with a hydrodynamic rail aft.
This high-pressure inflated hull combined with its aluminum exoskeleton forms an ultra-rigid unit that offers performance equivalent to a rigid-hulled boat.
The sails
The sails are designed and manufactured by North Sails, the world-leading sailmaker.
The square-top, full-batten Dacron reefable sail blends speed and safety with monofilm windows. Reef it by 1m² (10 sq ft) in just 4 minutes, no tools required. Engineered for optimum performance and easy handling in any wind condition.
The jib enhances upwind performance and adds the extra power needed to get the boat planing. The gennaker features a versatile cut that performs efficiently in conditions ranging from light winds to strong breezes.
