Is it possible to replace the Tiwal 3 rear wings with the extended ones from the Tiwal 3R?

Wing extensions alter the kinematics of forces on the structure. Using only the extended rear wings on a Tiwal 3 may cause structural damage to other parts. Eventually, the metal structure can no longer be dismantled.

If you use the extended rear wings on a Tiwal 3, you’ll also need to change the transom, the reinforcement arms, add a bow-shaped brace and 2 hook-and-loop straps. This adds around 3.5kg to the weight of the boat.
